The Electronic Appointment Book The Day Book is a computerised version of the paper appointment book. If customers request for their appointment to be moved or if re-organising is needed, appointments can be drag & dropped to a different time or stylist. Appointments can also be moved from day to day, week to week.

Monitor who has arrived, paid or cancelled The colour of the appointments can be changed in the day book to show if customers have arrived or paid. Cancelled appointments are removed from the day book. Pink = Arrived Green = Paid Yellow = Not Arrived Yet Cancelled bookings are recorded as: by phone, by email, in person, no show. If a booking is cancelled by 'No Show', there is a record automatically made in that customers profile. Next time they try to book an appointment, reception is alerted!

When the customer is ready to pay When an appointment is over, the pay process is started. Increase product sales - During the pay process, the receptionist or stylist is reminded to ask the customer if they would like to buy any products. Increase service sales - by bringing customers back to the salon on a more frequent basis and building a larger regular customer base. e-Salon manager does this by prompting to ask if the customer would like to pre-book their next appointment.

Keeping a record of appointments After the customer has left the salon, the details of the appointment can be entered into e-Salon Manager. Information recorded can include:

Automatically keep in touch with customers Once of the most powerful features is to automatically send reminders. Reminders can be sent by text message or email.
Appointment Reminders Are sent to customers one or more days before their appointment. This cuts down on no-shows and customer lateness, projecting a professional image for the salon.
Re-Visit Reminders Are sent to customers who have not revisited the salon after a certain number of weeks. Emails can be customised with your logo, pictures and graphics.
